Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to serve on the FELPS management team and provide support to the Chief Executive Officer. This is accomplished by preparing plans, specifications, contracts, and cost estimates for assigned projects requiring electrical engineering experience, preparing and evaluating contract engineering, construction, and equipment bids, administering, and reviewing consultant work, reviewing and determining applicable industry standards, and performing engineering design work, as required. Other duties include providing community support and goodwill, serving on various industry committees and boards, and coordinating with city and county government entities. Must embrace and lead change management concerning technological advances. Additional other duties may be assigned, based on organizational need. The Substation/Relay Department, Dispatch Department, and Metering/AMI Department report to this position.

Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to meet with potential customers to determine their power needs and design corresponding line extensions. This is accomplished by coordinating right-of-way easements; acting as liaison between customers and other FELPS crews; acting as primary point-of-contact with customers; explaining capabilities and processes to customers; and providing customer service in a timely manner. Other duties include contacting underground utility locating companies to clear potential hazards; researching adjacent property owners in order to provide right-of-way easement documents for power supply lines to customers; utilizing various surveying equipment, GPS equipment, line design software to complete line design. Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to safely construct and maintain electric system to customers in all weather and time conditions and to maintain safe working practices. This is accomplished by maintaining new and existing primary and secondary lines; providing customers with reliable distributed power; and restoring power in a timely manner. Completes all duties required in the maintenance and construction of both overhead and underground distribution, transmission and substation areas to include operating various equipment and vehicles such as digger trucks, crane trucks, forklifts, backhoes, ditch witches, underground wire pullers, bucket trucks, trailer and rope machines and any other equipment required in the electric distribution or transmission field; cutting and trimming trees; installing, connecting and disconnecting electric meters; building meter loops; troubleshooting problems; setting poles; and working in substations. The Journeyman Lineman is to be involved in daily tailboard discussions and may lead the discussion or act as Line Foreman in the absence of the Foreman, ensure safety of the construction crew and mentor subordinate staff with continuing education. Regularly takes after hours on call duties as scheduled. Additional other duties may be assigned, based on organizational need.
